President Biden and his like-minded big government elites in New York are destroying jobs and using the heavy-handed power of government to prevent able-bodied men and women from earning a living.
The COVID vaccine mandate and testing burden that Biden launched through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has dubious constitutional legitimacy according to David B. Rivkin, Jr., who served in the Reagan and Bush Justice Department.
On top of this, when New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s state vaccine mandate for all health care workers went into effect this past Tuesday, thousands of these desperately needed workers lost their jobs. According to the Wall Street Journal one hospital from Lewis County even stopped delivering babies in preparation for the loss of workers. Longer wait times at hospital emergency rooms are sure to follow as well.
This insanity was followed by an emergency order to allow medical personnel to come in from other states. Who in their right mind would want to go to New York right now? Between Biden’s job destruction of private businesses and Hochul’s destruction of health care services, New York has literally become a dangerous place to live, and we haven’t even gotten into their spike in crime.
I hope some of these great Americans find their way to Oklahoma. As a small business owner myself, I have left the vaccination option up to each individual— just like nearly all of Oklahoma business owners. Workers can find jobs here. Workers can exercise personal choice for their health care. And workers are treated with dignity and respect, no matter what choice they make.
